SERIES 1 (1986)

EMPEROR DARK

Supreme Emperor Dark is the sinister presence behind the Shadow Force. He was initially only released in Canada as a mailaway exclusive in 1987 (as part of the second series). He was later also released with the Shadow Force Action Set. He is the only human figure to not have his head covered with a helmet! His hair, eyebrows and beard have been captured very well in his toy figure!

Below is a Starcom commercial where Emperor Dark was played by an actor and steals the secrets of Magna Force and Power Deploy.

Body Mould

Emperor Dark has a Shadow Force symbol on the front of the chest. He has rank symbols on his arms. He did not come with a visor like all of the other human figures. Despite not coming with a backpack, he still has the two holes in his back for the placement of packs. He looks alot like his cartoon character in that he has his large triangular haircut and cape.

There are two holes in the back so that a backpack can be fixed to it. The boots have two magnets so figures can connect to magnetic surfaces. The arms can only move in one direction but the legs have joints at the knees.

ACCESSORIES

Emperor Dark came with a cape and a staff.

EMPEROR DARK COSTUME

In 1987 the Collegeville costume company released an Emperor Dark costume. It came with a mask, trousers and upper body cover/ cape.  There was a picture of the Emperor on the cape. It came in a cardboard box. The costume is hard to found nowadays as these costumes were very fragile.
