COL. James Derringer has a Star Wing symbol on his left breast. His face is clean shaven. He has his rank motif on his left and right arms. He has the Star Wing symbol on top of his helmet to show that he leads it.
The Starcom figures have two pins either side of their helmets. A visor attaches to to the pins and can be placed up or down. There are two holes on the back so that a backpack can be fixed to it. The boots have two magnets so figures can connect to magnetic surfaces. The arms can only move in one direction but the legs have joints at the knee
ACCESSORIES
COL. James Derringer came with a backpack, gun, hose and visor. The hose connected the backpack to the gun. The visors were fragile and they broke very easily. As the parts were very small, alot have been lost over the years.

COL. James Derringer originally came on a Coleco cardback. These cards had a filecard with information about the figure on it. He was then released on a Mattel cardback which does not have the filecard information. He also came on a European double cardback with the Shadow Force figure Captain Hydrone.
He also came in the Star Fleet Action set with the figures “Hammer,” “Yank,” CPL. Agon-6 and General Torvek.
In the later series there were no specific figures that came with vehicles. Random cardback figures were added to the vehicles. “
