STARMAX BOMBER

The Starmax Bomber is part of Starwing, Starcom’s air and space fleet. The vehicle came with the figure CAPT. Rip Malone. This vehicle is probably the most well known and popular vehicle in Starcom collecting. It was featured alot in the cartoon and has lots of playability!

A pilot can be seated in the cockpit and two other figures can be placed in the middle section. The rear section can hold four more figures in the troop transport pod. Alternatively , other pods or vehicles can be carried in the rear cargo hold. The rear cargo hold has a magna lock system that opens it slowly. The cockpit and middle section hatch both open when a switch is pressed. The vehicle has pop out front side guns, movable middle side guns and a movable top gun. The wings also fold up and down. A landing strut also comes in and out by twisting a button at the front.

The vehicle also came with the Starfleet Action Set.

STANDBY MODE

The Starmax bomber is a fantastic vehicle and it has multiple play functions. In battle mode the wings fold down for flight mode, the landing strut fold up for flight and the front guns pop out by pushign one end in and pulling out the gun tips manually.

POWER DEPLOY

The Power Deploy mechanism is deployed by pushing a switch backwards. This switch is at the rear of the vehicle as shown in the below picture. PARTS

The Starmax Bomber came with multiple parts. It came with four bombs that went into the rear holder. It came with two orange side guns that were easily broken. The top two barralled gun is sometimes missing the barrel as thebarrel part could be pulled off. An orange troop holding pod was placed in the cargo part of the vehicle. The cargo holder part also sometimes came out and had to be pushed back into place. The wings and windscreen were also removable. The two other white parts clip the middle canopy to the Starmax Bomber.

PACKAGING

The Starmax Bomber came packaged in a box with CAPT. Rip Malone .There was a U.S. version of the box and also a European version with the U.S. aspects taken off. The initial boxes were branded by Coleco but they later had Mattel on them.

Rip Malone and the Starmax Bomber also came in the Starcom Star Fleet Action Set.
