COBRA
The Cobra was released in 1983 a spart of series 2. He was sold in 1984 and 1985. Some Cobra’s were also available in bags through Hasbro Direct.He was discontinued in 1986.
In 1984 he was also available as a Sears exclusive Cobra six pack.

Body Mould
The Cobra’s have a red Cobra emblem on their chest. They have webbing on their fronts that go over their backs. A small pistol is in the front webbing. They have ammo pouches on their shoulders. They have black knee pads and a dagger on their left legs.

Cobra’s came with a sniper rifle.

LOOKS FAMILIAR
The Cobra looks quite similar to the Cobra Officer and I used to get mixed up with some of their parts! There are a number of differences between them. The Cobra eyes look like they have raised eyebrows and the Officer eyebrows looks more stern. Below is a picture showing the differences.
1982 STRAIGHT ARM RELEASE
In 1982 a straight arm version of Cobra was previously released. The 1983 swivel arm battle grip release was the upgrade.
ACTION FORCE RELEASE
Cobra’s were also released as part of the Palitoy Action Force (U.K. and Europe) toyline in 1985. They were also released as part of the 1987 Action Force toyline.
