Mutt and Junkyard

Dog Handler (K-9 Security Division).

Born: Madrid, Spain.

Mutt is an expert in security enforcement. A natural with animals, in fact he gets on better with dogs than he does with humans. His best friend is Junkyard, his dog.

Mutt came with his dog Junkyard, a helmet, facemask, gun, night stick and lead/leash for Junkyard.

Body Mould

Mutt has a moulded shirt with body armour covering. On his right breast he has a moulded knife in sheaf. On his left hand he has a moulded glove for dog training. On his right leg he has a gun in holster. He has two knee pads (one on each knee). 

 

Junkyard is moulded into a four legged stance. His face can be seen and he appears to be growling. 

 

ACCESSORIES

Mutt came with his dog Junkyard, a helmet, facemask, uzi machine gun (with silencer), night stick and lead/ leash for Junkyard. Soem carded versions did not have the uzi gun included.

PACKAGING

Mutt and Junkyard came as a carded figure. The figure cards continued to have the mail order offer. You collected five medals and could then send off for a free mail order figure. The mail order figure with this series was the Infantryman.

G.I. JOE U.S. RELEASE

Despite being released in the U.K. in 1985, Mutt and Junkyard were first released in the U.S. in 1984.

DATAFILE

Datafiles could be found in the Battle Action Force comics. They contained lots of information about the characters and had some great artwork.
