BRITISH MARINE

The British Marine figure came with an self loading rifle (SLR) and a blue shovel.

The Royal Marines are the United Kingdoms Commando force and the Royal Navy’s own amphibious force. They are an elite fighting force. They are trained for worldwide rapid response and are able to deal with various threats and security challenges.

The British Marine figure was based on the original Action Man Royal Marines Combat uniform. He was released as part of the first twelve figures in the early summer of 1982.

Body Mould

The British Marine has a moulded green beret on his head. His uniform is all a green camouflage. He has pockets on his breast, side pockets on his hips and two more pouches and a sleeping bag pouch on his lower back. He has some webbing that goes down his chest, over his shoulders and down his back. He had his rank symbol on his shoulder.

The British Marine figure came as a carded figure. The medal number for this figure was 5.

File Card

On the back of the card back you could see pictures of other figures and vehicles available in the Action Force line. There was also a mail order offer for the Commander figure. Each figure had a form on the back of the card and one medal with a number in it. Five medals could be attached to the form and sent off to get a Commander figure. The British Marine medal number was 5.
