FROGMAN
The Frogman was a great figure and came with flippers that could be take off and on. He also came with an oxygen tank. The tank also had a mask with breathing tubes attached.
The figures can be hard to get with a nice symbol. I am sure many of these figures have been under water a lot in their lifetimes!
The Frogman figure was based on the original Action Man Frogman Outfit. He was released as part of the first twelve figures in the early summer of 1982.

Ready for battle!
Body Mould
The Frogman has a moulded orange wetsuit which went over his entire body. Only his face and hands are shown out of the wetsuit. He has a a zip that goes down his chest. He also has a blue scuba tank symbol on his left breast. He had a dagger moulded on his left lower leg. On his left wrist he has a watch. One version of the Frogman has a black watch face.
ACCESSORIES
The Frogman came with an oxygen tank and flippers. The oxygen tank strapped onto his back and then a connected mask went over his head. He also came with two black flippers that went over his feet. They were quite a tight fit and can split quite easily as they are fragile.

PACKAGING
The Frogman came as a carded figure. His medal number was 1.
File Card
On the back of the card back you could see pictures of other figures and vehicles available in the Action Force line. There was also a mail order offer for the Commander figure. Each figure had a form on the back of the card and one medal with a number in it. Five medals could be attached to the form and sent off to get a Commander figure. The Frogman medal number was 1.
VARIANTS
The Frogman version one had the scuba tank badge on his chest in a shield shaped outline. Version one can be hard to find and can be expensive. Version two had a plain blue scuba tank badge on the chest. Version three was like version two but had a black watch face.

LOOKS FAMILIAR
The Frogman looks similar to the First Series SAS Frogman and Second Series SAS Frogman but they are different. The pictures below show that the neckline and waist areas are different moulds.
The black flippers and oxygen tank also came with the First Series SAS Frogman and Second Series SAS Frogman.
