GROUND ASSAULT
Ground Assault
The Ground Assault figure came with a tan back pack and ladder and a silver SA80 gun. The ladder could be stored in the back pack.
The same body mould was used for the Arctic Assault figure.
The Ground Assault figure was based on the original Action Man Special Team Ground Assault uniform. He was released as part of the first twelve figures in the early summer of 1982.

Body Mould
The Ground Assault figure had a moulded helmet with a microphone. On the top of the helmet was a red hawk symbol. The figure has two pouches on both hips. He has a belt which has a pouch at the front and a knife and water bottle at the back. He has pockets on the sides of each leg.
ACCESSORIES
The Ground Assault came with a silver SA80 machine gun, a tan back pack and a tan ladder that fitted inside the back pack. The back pack connected to the body of the figure with two straps. The ladder could be folded and placed in the hole at the top of the back pack.

PACKAGING
The Ground Assault figure came as a carded figure.
File Card
On the back of the card back you could see pictures of other figures and vehicles available in the Action Force line. There was also a mail order offer for the Commander figure. Each figure had a form on the back of the card and one medal with a number in it. Five medals could be attached to the form and sent off to get a Commander figure. The Ground Assault figures medal number was 7.
VARIANTS
The Ground Assault version one had dark brown camouflage on the upper crotch. The second version had dark brown camouflage on the lower crotch. Version three was like version one but with a round mouthpiece. Version four was like version two but with a round mouthpiece.
LOOKS FAMILIAR
The Ground Assault was a variant of the Arctic Assault figure.
The silver SA80 also came with the Arctic Assault figure and the second series Security Trooper.
