Another of my favourite figures. The Mountain and Arctic figure came with the AF9 vehicle. He came with a large amount of accessories!
His accessories included a white Sterling SMG, a white SA80, two white skis, two white ski poles and a white back pack with weapons strap. The ski poles were very thin and fragile. They can be hard to find undamaged.
The Mountain and Arctic figure was based on the original Action Man Mountain and Arctic outfit. He was released as part of the first twelve figures in the early summer of 1982.

Body Mould
The Mountain and Arctic figure has a moulded helmet with a mouthpiece and headset. He has a belt with two ammo poushces on each hip. At the bottom of his back he has a knife and water bottle.
ACCESSORIES
The Mountain and Arctic figure came with a white SA80, white SMG, two white skis, two white ski poles and a back pack with a weapons strap. The back was placed on the figure with two straps. A weapon could then be placed on the back pack under two smaller straps.

PACKAGING
The Mountain and Arctic figure came exclusively with the AF9 vehicle. He came on a card with plastic bubble. Some stickers were also included that went on the AF9 vehicle.
File Card
On the back of the card back you could see pictures of other figures and vehicles available in the Action Force line. There was also a mail order offer for the Commander figure. Each figure had a form on the back of the card and one medal with a number in it. Five medals could be attached to the form and sent off to get a Commander figure. The medal number for the Mountain and Arctic figure was 11.
VARIANTS
This figure has a lot of variants! Version one was coloured all in white and had a red eagle emblem on his helmet.Version two was all white without the eagle emblem. Version three had grey and blue camouflage and has a red eagle emblem. Version four has grey and blue camouflage and no red eagle emblem. Version five was like version one with a round mouthpiece. Version six was like version two with a round mouthpiece. Version seven was like version three with a round mouthpiece. Version eight was like version four witha round mouthpiece.
