COMMAND POST POD

The Command Post Pod is part of the Starbase Command Battle Group. It has an observation tower, pivoting radar antennas, gunner stations, swivelling railgun minicannons, armor shielding, elevating command seat and metal panels to allow magna lock figures to lock on. The technical profile states it is crewed by a commander gunners. In transport mode it closes to a standard cargo pod and can be tranported by most Starcom vehicles. In battle mode it opens to deploy observation, radar communications and defensive equipment. The equipment includes hyperwave radar, communications, bio-logic computers. It has two rail gun minicannons.

The Command Post Pod was manually transformed into battle mode. It wa opened apart and and the observation housing was raised. A lever was then used to raise the chair.

The four pods could be locked together to create a circular fortress.

PACKAGING

The Action Pods came boxed with cardboard inserts. They came in a U.S. Coleco box which had a technical profile. The second Coleco box had all U.S. aspects removed and no technical profile. The pods also came in a Mattel box and this also did not have a technical profile.
