MISSILE FOX

The Missile Fox was released as part of series three. It also came with the Starfleet Action Set. It is a Tactical Launching vehicle that comes under the Astro Marines battle group.

The technical profile states that the vehicles crew capacity consists of one Astro Marine driver, a gunner and four combat troops. Its mission profile is defending ground forces from air attack and Battlefield Command Center defence. It opens to launch mode to deloy a launch pad, cannons, guns and to carry troops to battle. Its armaments include one Heat Activated Tiborg-Class weapon (1 H.A.T. Missile), two twin megalaser cannons- high energy laser weapons, and two RAM cannons-reflex arc maser weapons. Its tactical speciality is deploying from transport mode to launch mode unexpectedly when enemy aircraft comes into range.

POWER DEPLOY

The Missile Fox has a power deploy mechanism to put it into launch mode. The power deploy button is found at the rear of the vehicle between the wheels. When one button is pressed the top goes backwards and the sides open. The missile launcher then rises and the front guns pop out.

The Missile Fox has a missile that is often missing, two side guns and a launcher part. These parts are often missing.

INCLUDED FIGURE

The Mattel version of this vehicle included a random figure. The Coleco version did not have an included figure.

The Mattel version came with a random Starcom figure. A specific figure was not assigned to the vehicle. In the later series carded figures were added to the vehicles instead of them having specific pilots/ drivers.

The Missile Fox was supplied in a box with cardboard inserts and plastic bags for parts and stickers. It came in a Coleco branded box as well as a Mattel branded box.
