CAPT. RIP MALONE (STARMAX BOMBER)

CAPT. Rip Malone is part of Starwing, Starcoms air and space fleet. He came with the Starcom Starmax Bomber vehicle.

He also came with the Starfleet Action Set. The Action Set describes him as commander of the Starmax Bomber. It describes him as the calm, cool, pilot and ship’s commander. An old fashioned Southern gentleman he never panics in a tight spot.

Body Mould

CAPT. Rip Malone has the Star Wing emblem on his left breast. He has ranking markings on his left arm. His face is cean shaven. He has an emblem on top of his helmet that resembles aa Starmax Bomber and this is the vehicle I.D.

The Starcom figures have two pins either side of their helmets. A visor attaches to to the pins and can be placed up or down. There are two holes on the back so that a backpack can be fixed to it. The boots have two magnets so figures can connect to magnetic surfaces. The arms can only move in one direction but the legs have joints at the knee

ACCESSORIES

Capt. Rip Malone only came with a visor. As the parts were very small, many have been lost or broken over the years.

PACKAGING

CAPT. Rip Malone was packaged with the Starmax Bomber vehicle. There was a U.S. version of the box and also a European version with the U.S. aspects taken off. The initial boxes were branded by Coleco but they later had Mattel on them.

Rip Malone and the Starmax Bomber also came in the Starcom Star Fleet Action Set.
