F1400 STARWOLF

The F-1400 Starwolf is a Flex-wing Astro Fighter. It is piloted by LT. Tom Waldron. The wings fold up when in standby mode and fold down when the power deploy button is pressed.

It has magnets on the top and bottom and can therefore attach to other vehicles. In standby mode it can fit inside the Starmax Bomber and other similar compartments.

STANDBY MODE

BATTLE MODE

The Starwolf has a power deploy mechanism to put it in battle mode. The power deploy button is found on the back of the ship.

POWER DEPLOY

The power deploy button is found on the back of the ship. When pressed the wings lower down. Another button underneath opens the landing skids. The canopy also opens when a switch is pressed.

After the Power deploy button is pressed the Starwolf wings lower down.

PARTS

The Starwolf can be hard to find complete. It has two small wing tips and a front nose that are easily lost. It also has two fragile guns and a canopy that covers the cockpit.

PACKAGING

The Starwolf was supplied in a box with cardboard inserts and plastic bags for parts and stickers. It came in a Coleco branded box as well as a Mattel branded box. It was also supplied in the Starfleet Action Set and some special offer double packs.
