Born: Rotterdam, Netherlands.
Previously a scuba instructor and martial arts fanatic, Torpedo is known to his colleagues only as a totally dedicated professional. His private life is a mystery.
Torpedo came with a harpoon/ spear gun, backpack (with oxygen tank) and two flippers/fins.

Body Mould
Torpedo had a moulded wetsuit covering his body. He has a breathing mouth piece with tube moulded onto his face. On his chest he has four pockets on his upper part. On his right leg he has a dagger in a sheath. On his left leg he has explosive devices.
ACCESSORIES
Torpedo came with a harpoon/ spear gun, backpack (with oxygen tank) and two flippers/fins. The flipper had pins that fitted into the holes in the figures feet.

PACKAGING
Torpedo came as a carded figure. The figure cards continued to have the mail order offer. You collected five medals and could then send off for a free mail order figure. The mail order figure with this series was the Infantryman.
LOOKS FAMILIAR
The harpoon also came with the German Seewolf figure.
G.I. JOE U.S. RELEASE
Despite being released in the U.K. in 1985, Torpedo was first released in the U.S. in 1983.
DATAFILE
Datafiles could be found in the Battle Action Force comics. They contained lots of information about the characters and had some great artwork.
