This Cobra Trooper is one of the nameless fanatics from all around the world that are controlled by Cobra command. All are highly dangerous masters of modern terrorism. They swear loyalty to their power-hungry leader, Cobra Commander. Their escape armour is always ready for them to climb into if the action get too hot! Once inside, the Cobra are protected from Action Force weapons and can continue to fight. Their lives often depend upon how quickly they can get into their Escape Armour!
The Hyena Driver came with the Hyena Tank vehicle. He came with no accessories.
The same figure came with the Escape Armour (version 2) as the Escape Armour Pilot. The figure with the Escape Armour had a bazooka and black ammo box.

Body Mould
The Hyena Tank Driver had a moulded helmet with silver visor. He has a Cobra emblem on his chest which often gets scratched off. He wore very high moulded black boots.
ACCESSORIES
The Hyena Driver came with no accessories.
PACKAGING
The Hyena Tank Driver came boxed wth the Hyena. The same figure also came with the Escape Armour (version 2) but the Escape Armour figure came with a bazooka and black ammo box.
LOOKS FAMILIAR
The Hyena Driver came with no accessories, but was exactly the same figure as the Escape Armour Pilot.
G.I. JOE U.S. RELEASE
Despite being released in the U.K. in 1985, the figure was first released in the U.S. in 1983 as the H.I.S.S. tank driver.
DATAFILE
Datafiles could be found in the Battle Action Force comics. They contained lots of information about the characters and had some great artwork.
