Born: Vienna, Austria
Spoiled daughter of European aristocrats. Only she knows Destro’s real identity. Baroness divides her loyalty between Cobra Commander and Destro.
Baroness came with a rifle and backpack. Her figure mould is excellent and she has a number of Cobra emblems on it (as well as her backpack). She is the only Palitoy figure to have glasses and long hair! The Cobra emblem on her chest is often missing or in poor condition.

Body Mould
Baroness has glasses moulded onto her face and long hair on her head. She has the Cobra logo on her chest and this can be hard to find in good condition. She has the Cobra logo on her wrists and belt buckle. She has a side arm on her right upper thigh.
ACCESSORIES
Baroness came with a laser rifle and backpack. Sometimes she was also supplied with some binoculars.

PACKAGING
Baroness came as a carded figure. On the rear of the cards, the Baroness figure is shown with binoculars and there are some rare carded examples whee she was supplied with them (picture of moc with binoculars below). She is most often found with just the rifle and backpack.
The figure cards continued to have the mail order offer. You collected five medals and could then send off for a free mail order figure. The mail order figure with this series was the Infantryman.
Binoculars?
Baroness was shown with binoculars on the back of the figure cards. There are some examples of her being supplied with binoculars as well as her rifle and backpack.
G.I. JOE U.S. RELEASE
Despite being released in the U.K. in 1985, Baroness was first released in the U.S. in 1984.
DATAFILE
Datafiles could be found in the Battle Action Force comics. They contained lots of information about the characters and had some great artwork.
