BREAKER

Breaker

Infantry Communications Officer.

Born: Munich, West Germany.

Breaker is familiar with all NATO and Warsaw Pact communication equipment. A gifted linguist, he speaks seven languages!

Efficient and confident, with an uncanny ability to turn adverse situations to his advantage.

Breaker came with a helmet, radio headset and backpack. The radio headset connected to the backpack. this gave the impression the power and communications ability was connected from pack to headset. Unlike most figures, Breaker did not have any weapons other than a moulded gun on his leg.

Body Mould

Breaker has a grenade and a dagger on his chest. He has pockets on his right and left upper legs.  

 

ACCESSORIES

Breaker came with a helmet, backpack and communications microphone. The microphone connected to his pack.

PACKAGING

Breaker came as a carded figure. The figure cards continued to have the mail order offer. You collected five medals and could then send off for a free mail order figure. The mail order figure with this series was the Infantryman.

LOOKS FAMILIAR

Breaker’s helmet also came with Flash and the Infantryman.

A blue version of the microphone came with the second series Space Force Battle Gear

A blue version of the helmet came with the second series Space Force figures. A red version came with the Z Force Steeler figure.

G.I. JOE U.S. RELEASE

Despite being released in the U.K. in 1985, Breaker was first released in the U.S. in 1982.

DATAFILE

Datafiles could be found in the Battle Action Force comics. They contained lots of information about the characters and had some great artwork.
