ACTION FORCE 1985 (THIRD SERIES)

Skystriker

Action Force control the airways with the supersonic Skystriker XP-14F Jet. This powerful plane has sweeping wings and is armed with six missiles.

The Skystriker Jet came with the figure Ace. It has seven missiles, an opening cockpit with two seats, wings and wheels that folded in and out with a switch and engine panels. It even came with a parachute for the Ace figure!

It was a large, awesome vehicle that was a fantastic toy. It was nice that in the Action Force line Cobra had the Roboskull to go against it otherwise they would have stood no chance!

A lever on the tip of the vehicle pulled the wheels up or down and the wings in or out.

The cockpit canopy covered two pilot seats. the canopy was fragile and they are often found broken.

The missiles were brittle and so were the parts that held them in place. Missiles are often found broken as are the points that they attach to.

The parachutes were made from very thin plastic and are often broken or missing. They can be hard to find.

PACKAGING

The Skystriker vehicle came boxed with the Ace figure.

G.I. JOE U.S. RELEASE

The Skystriker vehicle was released as part of the G.I. Joe line in 1983. It came with different stickers and a different box.

DATAFILE

Datafiles could be found in the Battle Action Force and Action Force comics. They contained lots of information about the vehicles and characters and had some great artwork.
