ACTION FORCE 1985 (THIRD SERIES)

WATER MOCCASIN

Water Moccasin

The Water Moccasin is Cobra’s extremely fast swam cruiser. It can transport up to four Cobra troopers for a lightening strike against Action Force. Armed with revolving and elevating guns, also a torpedo.

The Cobra Water Moccasin came with the Copperhead figure. A figure could be seated in the main driver seat and a figure could stand in the gun turret. There was a side platform on both sides with a figure peg. A figure can be placed on each side.

A wheel could be turned and the fan rotor blades would go around. The engine fins could also be moved from left to right.

The vehicle has a few small parts which are often missing or broken. There are two storage covers, a windscreen, machine gun, two side guns and a small black part that connected the rear fins.

The Water Moccasin came with a black torpedo that attached underneath the boat. It also had compartment covers, a windscreen, top gun, side guns and fins that could be moved to the side.

The Water Moccasin came boxed with the Copperhead figure.

G.I. JOE U.S. RELEASE

In 1984 the Cobra Water Moccasin was released as part of the G.I. Joe toy line. It had different stickers and a different box to the Action Force version. In 1988 the vehicle was recoloured and sold as the G.I. Joe Tiger Shark.

DATAFILE

Datafiles could be found in the Battle Action Force and Action Force comics. They contained lots of information about the vehicles and characters and had some great artwork.
