GERMAN STORMTROOPER
The German Stormtrooper figure was a very detailed and well designed figure. On the body he has stick grenades and a water cannister. He came with four accessories. He came with a KAR-98 (Mauser) rifle, spade and two stick grenades. The stick grenades are very small and can be very hard to find for collectors.
The first version had a shield and phoenix emblem on the helmet. Two later versions did not have this. The German Stormtrooper figure was based on the original Action Man German Stormtrooper uniform. He was released as part of the first twelve figures in the early summer of 1982.

Body Mould
The German Stormtrooper had a moulded helmet with chin strap. The first version had a phoenix emblem on the left side of the helmet and a shield on the right side. He has an eagle emblem on his right breast and pockets on his chest. He has a belt and webbing that goes over his front and back. In his front belt he has some moulded stick grenades. On his lower black he has a moulded case and water bottle.
ACCESSORIES
The German Stormtrooper came with a blue KAR-98 (Mauser) rifle, two blue stick grenades and a blue shovel. The stick grenades were very small and many have been lost over the years.

PACKAGING
The German Stormtrooper figure came as a carded figure.
File Card
On the back of the card back you could see pictures of other figures and vehicles available in the Action Force line. There was also a mail order offer for the Commander figure. Each figure had a form on the back of the card and one medal with a number in it. Five medals could be attached to the form and sent off to get a Commander figure. The German Stormtrooper medal number was 8.
VARIANTS
The German Stormtrooper version one had a shield and phoenix emblem on the helmet and had a grey chin strap. Version two had no helmet emblem and a grey chin strap. Version three had no helmet emblem and a black chin strap.
LOOKS FAMILIAR
The German Stormtrooper body was used for the Red Shadow and Red Vulture figures.
