ACTION FORCE 1982 (FIRST SERIES)

MISSION PILOT

The Mission Pilot has the same body mould as the Helicopter Pilot. He came with a beige life jacket, a black ammo box and a blue revolver. He also came with a rubber band so that the life jacket could be held in place on his body.

The Mission Pilot figure was based on the original Action Man ‘Red Devil’ Parachutist uniform. He was released as part of the first twelve figures in the early summer of 1982.

Body Mould

The Mission Pilot had a moulded helmet and visor. He also had an oxygen mask on his face. He has a moulded jump suit with belt a. He has a gun holster on his left hip.

ACCESSORIES

The Mission Pilot came with a blue revolver, black ammo box, beige life jacket and a rubber band (to fix the life jacket in place).

PACKAGING

The Mission Pilot figure came as a carded figure. The medal number for this figure is 9.

File Card

On the back of the card back you could see pictures of other figures and vehicles available in the Action Force line. There was also a mail order offer for the Commander figure. Each figure had a form on the back of the card and one medal with a number in it. Five medals could be attached to the form and sent off to get a Commander figure. The Mission Pilot medal number was 9.

LOOKS FAMILIAR

The blue revolver also came with the First series Commander figure and the Helicopter Pilot.

The black ammo box came with the first series Mission Pilot. it also came with the second series SAS Pilot, Red Shadow, Z Force Sapper, SAS Battle Gear and the third series Escape Armour Pilot. It also came with the German version of the Z Force Sapper Polizist and the German version of the Red Shadow Rote Schatten.
