Son of a hereditary Earl. Eagle was educated at Eton, Cambridge and Sandhurst, where he won the Sword of Honour. After a brilliant Army Career he transferred to Avtion Force in search of more action. Familiar with all forms of Guerilla Tactics and most weaponry used by military forces worldwide.

The SAS Squad Leader Charles Buckingham was the overall leader of the SAS section of Action Force. He came with a Heckler and Kosh machine gun, a rope and a black grappling hook.

Body Mould

The SAS Pilot had a moulded gas mask and hood covering his head. His body is covered in a bullet proof vest. He has a gun holster on his left side at the top of his leg. He has a torch/flashlight on his right side. He has ammo clips on the small of his back. The SAS emblem in on both shoulders.

ACCESSORIES

The SAS Squad Leader came with a Heckler and Kosh machine gun, a black grappling hook and a rope. The rope could be tied to the grappling hook so that it could be used with the figure.

The SAS Squad Leader figure came as a carded figure.

File Card

Information about the figure could be found on the back of the figures file card (the Datafile information). Each figure also had an individual medal number for the mail order offer. The SAS Squad Leader number was 20.

VARIANTS

The SAS Squad leader was a variant of the first series SAS figure. The SAS Squad Leader had two versions. Version one had a face mask with a nodule on the end. The second version had a less defined face mask with no nodule. The third version had harder plastic and had an angled hand.

The Heckler and Kosh machine gun came with the first series SAS and Night Patrol. It also came with the Second Series SAS Squad leader, the SAS Battle Gear and a variant of the Enemy Battle Gear.

The black grapple hook also came with the second series Z Force Captain and the SAS Battle Gear. It also came with the German version of the SAS Squad Leader (Adler).
