“Dependable soldiers that won’t let you down in a fire-fight.”

The Z Force Infantrymen were the main army soldiers of Z Force- similar to the Enemy Red Shadow soldiers. They came with a Heckler and Kosh machine gun and a weapon strap backpack. The weapon could be stored at the top of their back packs under two straps. You had to be carful as sometimes the weapon could bend from the straps!

File Card

Information about the figure could be found on the back of the figures file card (the Datafile information). Each figure also had an individual medal number for the mail order offer. The Z Force Infantryman number was 31.

VARIANTS

The first version has a straight belt. The second version is made of harder plastic and has clearer paintwork. The peak on the hat is also longer and the belt is curvier.

LOOKS FAMILIAR

The Z Force Infantryman was a repaint of the Z Force Jeep driver Wheels. They are painted differently. The German figure Spurhund was the German version of the Z Force Infantryman.

The Heckler and Kosh machine gun also came with the First Series Night Patrol figure and SAS. It also came with the Second Series , SAS Squad LeaderSAS Battle Gear and a variant of the Enemy Battle Gear.

The black weapons strap back pack also came with the first series Night Patrol figure, SAS Stakeout figure (Boat Patrol), Second Series Z Force Infantryman, and the German Spurhund figure.

If you look at the Datafiles for the Z Force Infantryman and Z Force Sapper, it appears as though they have mixed up the figure images! The main image in the Z Force Sapper Datafile even shows the Heckler and Koch machine gun.

DATAFILE

Datafiles could be found in the Battle Action Force comics. They contained lots of information about the characters and had some great artwork.
