Mighty Max - All Max figures

The Mighty Max toys came with many different figures and it can get confusing to know which figure goes with which set! Below shows which figures came with each series and sets. We hope it helps!

SERIES 1 FIGURES

The series one sets came with different random Mighty Max figures. The series one figures came with series 1 Doom Zones, series 1 Horror Heads, watches and Skull Mountain.

The figures from this series have bigger eyes and a darker colour is used for the iris. The figures hats were painted with eight different colours. The hats came in turquoise, blue, purple, lavender, green, light green, pink and red. You will also note that the white T-shirt is wider than the trousers on these figures and sticks out at the sides.

In the U.K. there were also orange figures that came with the series one sets. They are often referred to as “prototype” figures but they came with the original series one Doom Zones (in the U.K.). You will note that there are eight different molds of the orange figures that match the coloured versions. My brother had some Doom Zones as a kid and I remember that they came with the orange figures! They looked strange and as if someone had forgotten to paint them! Fun fact! The Trapped In Skull Mountain box shows an orange Mighty Max is included.

SERIES 2 FIGURES

The series two Max figures are a bit slimmer and taller and have red caps. The eyes are smaller and looks more detailed with a light blue colour used for the iris. Unlike the series one figures, the shirt is not wider than the trousers. The second series of figures appear more detailed and life-like. You can easily compare differences with the series one figures above.

These came with Doom Zones series 2 and 3, Horror Heads series 2 and 3, Battle Warriors, Skull Master Mega Head, Dragon Island and Dread Heads (Hairy Heads).

MONSTER HEADS EXCLUSIVE FIGURES

The Monster Heads also came with a Mighty Max figure. There were six different Mighty Max figures in the Monster Heads line (shown below). A random Mighty Max figure would come in each set.

SHRUNKEN HEADS EXCLUSIVE FIGURES

The Shrunken Heads each came with a specific Mighty Max figure. There were sixteen different Mighty Max figures in the Shrunken Heads line.

The Heroes and Villains sets came with a Mighty Max figure. Collection 1 has a random Max figure with a light green cap. Collection 2 and Collection 3 have a random series two Max figure. Collections 4, 5 and 6 have a specific figure to each set.
