Mighty Max Series One

The series one sets came with different random Mighty Max figures. The series one figures came with series 1 Doom Zones, series 1 Horror Heads and Skull Mountain.

The figures from this series have bigger eyes and a darker colour is used for the eyes. The figures hats were painted with eight different colours. The hats came in turquoise, blue, purple, lavender, green, light green, pink and red. You will also note that the white T-shirt is wider than the trousers on these figures and sticks out at the sides.

In the U.K. there were also orange figures that came with the series one sets. They are often referred to as “prototype” figures but they came with the original series one Doom Zones (in the U.K.). You will note that there are eight different molds of the orange figures that match the coloured versions. My brother had some Doom Zones as a kid and I remember that they came with the orange figures! They looked strange and as if someone had forgotten to paint them! Fun fact! The “Trapped In Skull Mountain” box shows that an orange Mighty Max is included.
