Body Mould

The Aqua Trooper (Shark) has a mould that resembled a wetsuit. He has a dagger on his left lower leg.

ACCESSORIES

The Aqua Trooper came with blue breathing apparatus which attached over his head and then was held in place with a belt clasp that went around his waist. The face plate hooks over the top of the breathing apparatus. The breathing apparatus were a clever design as from the side they resemble the shape of a shark. The blue pipes on the breathing apparatus as well as the belt are quite fragile and often broken. He also came with two blue fins/flippers that were placed onto his feet.

PACKAGING

The Sonar Officer came as a carded figure but also came with the Stingray vehicle. The Stingray vehicle came on a card as well as a box (both shown below).

File Card

Information about the figure could be found on the back of the figures file card (the Datafile information). Each figure also had an individual medal number for the mail order offer. The Aqua Trooper number was 35. On the cardback with the Stingray vehicle the medal number was 41.

VARIANTS

The same mould was used for the German figure Hai.

LOOKS FAMILIAR

The Aqua Trooper also came with the Stingray vehicle with his breathing apparatus and fins/flippers.

The German version of the figure “Hai” came carded and with the vehicle Tiefengleiter.

The Aqua Trooper also came with blue fins/flippers. The blue flippers also came in the Q Force back pack and so did the breathing apparatus.

The flippers also came in black with the first series Frogman, SAS Frogman and the second series SAS Frogman.

DATAFILE

Datafiles could be found in the Battle Action Force comics. They contained lots of information about the characters and had some great artwork.
