Selected from the most elite Military Forces around the world only the top 1% are even considered. Must be highly experienced but willing to learn via specialist training at Action Force academies. Must demonstrate the ability to move up through the ranks of SAS and be able to operate as a member of the Team.

The SAS Attack Trooper looks fearsome with his mask and oxygen tank on whilst holding his grease gun! One of my favourite figures! It can be quite hard to find an undamaged oxygen tank as the connecting pipes are quite fragile and have a tendency to break.

The picture on the datafile is reminiscent of the Iranian embassy siege in 1980 when SAS stormed the building after a hostage situation

Body Mould

The SAS Attack Trooper has a helmet and balaclava on his head. He has a large knife on his upper left leg and a water bottle on the small of his back. The SAS logo is on his left breast.

ACCESSORIES

The Attack Trooper came with a black Grease gun and an oxygen pack. The oxygen pack had two straps that connected it to the figures body. The mask on the pack fitted around the figures head. The mask was connected to the oxygen pack with thin pipes that are often found broken.

The SAS Attack Trooper figure came as a carded figure.

FILE CARD

Information about the figure could be found on the back of the figures file card (the Datafile information). Each figure also had an individual medal number for the mail order offer. The Attack Trooper number was 46.

VARIANTS

The first version had soft plastic . The second version was made of a harder plastic and the paint was a higher standard.

LOOKS FAMILIAR

The black Grease gun also came with the second series Beaver figure and the SAS Para Attack. Different coloured Grease guns came with other figures and sets. You can click the Grease gun image below to view the different types and who they came with.
