Dregs of humanity from all corners of the world attracted to Baron Ironblood by empty promises of riches and power. Brainwashed into ruthless suicidal fighters by the Black Major and ready to die for “the cause.”

“Devoid of fear, the Red Shadows limitations are not yet known.”

The Red Shadows were Baron Ironblood’s basic soldiers that were sent out to do various missions. The Red Shadows came with a bazooka weapon and black ammo case. Their bodies were a repaint of the First Series German Stormtrooper.

Body Mould

The Red Shadows body mould was a repaint of the First Series German Stormtrooper body. He has a belt with stick grenades attached at the front. There is a logo on his right breast. He has a pouch and water bottle in the small of his back. He has a helmet with the Red Shadows emblem on the front. He has two black boots.

ACCESSORIES

The Red Shadows came with a bazooka and a black ammo case..

PACKAGING

The Red Shadow figure came as a carded figure but also came with the Red Shadows Escape Armour. He also somtimes came with the Laser Exterminator (box 2c) and the Shadowtrak.

File Card

Information about the figure could be found on the back of the figures file card (the Datafile information). Each figure also had an individual medal number for the mail order offer. The Red Shadows number was 27.

VARIANTS

Version one has more menacing eyes, rounded hands and the eagle on his chest is moulded. The second version of the Red Shadow is known as the “Dufus”. The second version has a smaller head and the eyes are more spread out and less scary. The eagle on the chest is painted and the hands are more flat.

LOOKS FAMILIAR

The Red Shadow figures body was a repaint based on the First Series German Stormtrooper. You can see the similarity below but obviously the heads are different!

The Red Vulture figure came with the Shadowtrak vehicle. Red Vulture had black hands and was a repaint of the Red Shadow figure. The same figure mould was also used for the German Roter Lenker and Rote Schatten figures minus the skull emblem.

The bazooka also came with the second series Escape Armour and the Enemy Battle Gear. It also came with the third series Escape Armour and the German Rote Schatten figure.

The black ammo box also came with the first series Mission Pilot, the second series Red Shadows Escape Armour, SAS Pilot, Z Force Sapper, SAS Battle Gear, and the third series Escape Armour. It also came with the German Terror Bande Rote Schatten figure.
