BATTLECRANE
The Battlecrane is a transport vehicle that comes under the Starwing battle group. It iss piloted by SGT. Bob Anders.
The Battlecrane has a magna lock magnet on its underside for transporting cargo pods and combat vehicles. A button can be pressed to make the vehicle drop whatever it is carrying. Another button raises the wings and opens the cockpit and two side guns. The larger gun underneath the cockpit can be swivelled out.
The technical profile states that the vehicle was used for transporting combat vehicles and Cargo Pods full of weapons and ammo-right into the middle of a firefight!
STANDBY MODE
BATTLE MODE
The Battlecrane had a power deploy mechanism to put it in battle mode. The power deploy button is found at the rear of the vehicle on the top. When one button is pressed a cargo release activates, Another button raises the wings, opens the cockpit and lowers the two side guns. The larger mega laser has to be pulled out from under the cockpit canopy.
POWER DEPLOY
The Battlecrane had a power deploy mechanism to put it in battle mode. The power deploy button is found at the rear of the vehicle on the top. Another button raises the engine pods, opens the cockpit and lowers the two mini guns. When one button is pressed a cargo release activates,
PARTS
The Starhawk came with two teraforce high explosive missile bombs and two megalaser guns (high energy laser weapons). These four parts came off easily and many have been lost over the years. The guns had holes that could be placed onto pegs at the front of the vehicle. The bombs slid into clips under the wings.

INSTRUCTIONS (COLECO)
The Battlecrane was released by Coleco and Mattel and so instructions were produced by both companies. Below are pictures of the Coleco instructions.

PACKAGING
The Battlecrane was supplied in a box with cardboard inserts and palstic bags for parts and stickers. It came in a Coleco branded box as well as a Mattel branded box.
