ACTION FORCE 1983-1984 (SECOND SERIES)

ESCAPE ARMOUR

Escape Armour

The Escape Armour is an item of survival equipment designed to allow a member of the Enemy to escape from otherwise fatal situations. Baron Ironblood in particular always keep a set closeby, given Action Force’s determination to liquidate him. The strong anti-tank missile armour plating can withstand most missiles in the  Action Force armoury. It is the strongest material known to man, although it is very light and can be carried by one person. Action Force scientists are keen to discover the secret formula behind this armour material. The user simply pulls the armour apart into its components and then fits the various parts around the body. Self-propelled, the Escape Armour contains sensors which can detect the presence of Action Force personnel and vehicles via audio, radar and infra-red warning systems. The powerful hydraulic arms have interchangeable claw, rocket or flamethrower.

The Escape Armour came with a Red Shadow figure. The vehicles arms could have attachments added to the ends and these included a rocket, a flamethrower, a machine gun or a claw.

The vehicle came with a large number of parts and they can be hard to find complete. Some of the parts are very small and many have been lost over the years.
