STINGRAY

Stingray

The Q Force Stingray vehicle came with the figure Shark. It held two yellow missiles on the underside. 

The Q Force Stingray was a small vehicle that came with the figure Shark/ Aquatrooper. Shark could be seated in the vehicle when wearing his flippers/fins and breathing apparatus.

The vehicle came with two yellow torpedoes that fitted on the underside. These torpedoes were fragile and often broke off in the holes they were put into.

The Q Force Stingray came with two yellow torpedoes. They are quite notorious for breaking off in their holders.

Included Figure- Shark/ Aquatrooper

The Shark/ Aquatrooper figure was included with the Stingray vehicle. Click on his picture to see his guide. He came with flippers and breathing apparatus.

 

PACKAGING

The Stingray vehicle came boxed and on a card with the Shark/ Aquatrooper figure. 

 

VARIANTS

The German version of Stingray was called the Tiefengleiter.

LOOKS FAMILIAR

The yellow missiles that came with the Stingray also came with the Swordfish. 

The same type of missile also came with the series one AF5, the APC (version one and two) and the Satellite Defence in different colours. 

G.I. JOE U.S. RELEASE

The Stingray was not released as part of the G.I. Joe line.

DATAFILE

Datafiles could be found in the Battle Action Force and Action Force comics. They contained lots of information about the vehicles and characters and had some great artwork.
