Ex-Mexican bandit, who stole from the rich to give to the poor. Given asylum by Action Force. However, he’s still wanted by certain Mexican authorities- that’s why he always keeps his mask on. Responded well to Action Force training and looks certain to earn an early parole.

Hunter came with the Wolverine version 1 vehicle (a repaint of the G.I. Joe Wolverine vehicle). He was one of the figures with full articulation. He was a repaint of the G.I Joe Cobra Officer and Driver figures. He can be very hard to find with the SAS emblem still in tact on his chest. He cam with no accessories.
He was in a television commercial battling Kraken and the Hyena tank. This can be viewed here.

Body Mould
Hunter has a moulded helmet mask. He has a belt and webbing over his chest and back with ammo pouches. He has a knife in a sheath on his left leg. His silver mask often suffers paint loss. He has an SAS emblem on his chest but this is often missing.
ACCESSORIES
Hunter did not come with any accessories. He was later released as a U.S. convention exclusive with the Cobra Officer’s accessories.
PACKAGING
The SAS hunter figure came boxed exclusively with the Wolverine vehicle.
File Card
Information about the figure could be found on the back of the figures file card (the Datafile information). Each figure also had an individual medal number for the mail order offer. Hunter did not have a medal number.
VARIANTS
Version one had light grey webbing. Version two had dark grey webbing. The eyes were also different for the two variants.

Hunter was a repaint of the Cobra Officer and Cobra Driver.
G.I. JOE U.S. RELEASE
Hunter was not released as part of the G.I. Joe figures. However, the Cobra Officer was first released in the U.S. in 1982.
DATAFILE
Datafiles could be found in the Battle Action Force comics. They contained lots of information about the characters and had some great artwork.
