ACTION FORCE 1983-1984 (SECOND SERIES)

SAS PANTHER

SAS Panther

The SAS Panther came with the figure Stalker. It was in a lovely black and yellow colour combination. It had a large rear gun and two petrol cans.

The SAS Panther was an awesome vehicle that came with Stalker, who was  one of the best figures (in my opinion). Two figures could sit in it and the drivers seat had a yellow steering wheel in front of it.

A large gun at the rear could 360 degrees and move up and down. A lever could be moved forward and backwards and the two guns would move in and out.

On the rear there is a compartment that holds two petrol cans. I assume that they would be removed before battle as bright yellow petrol cans would be a good target for the Red Shadows!

The Panther had a tow hook and could tow vehicles such as the MMS. At the front there was a yellow tow bar and pretend winch cable holder.

The petrol cans and steering wheel are often missing and the gun is often found to be broken.

It was a re-paint of the G.I. Joe Vamp vehicle. The Panther came in two varaints. One had a black roll bar and another had a yellow roll bar.
