ACTION FORCE 1983-1984 (SECOND SERIES)

ROBOSKULL

Roboskull

Multi-position wings. Demountable engine pods. Pilot compartment with opening hatch. Rear-gunner position with opening hatch. Escape chute at rear. Rotating guns. Fitted with laser weapons. Piloted by Red Wolf.

The Roboskull is my favourite Action Force vehicle and in my opinion is simply awesome. The design used a skull as the main section of the ship and it looks very fearsome. It came with Red Wolf version 1

It has two chin guns, two eye guns and four red guns on the wings. A pilot sits in the front and there is also a seat for a rear gunner. Underneath there is a chamber for prisoners.

The Roboskull is now very sought after and parts are very expensive. The red guns, red feet and darker guns can be hard to find.

The Roboskull appeared in the TV commercial battling the Triad Fighter and the ATC. You can watch it here.

The Roboskull also briefly appeared in this TV commercial.

VARIANTS

The Roboskull was originally released in the Action Force second series as a Red Shadows vehicle. Due to surplus it continued to be sold as part of the Cobra vehicles in series three. The original Red Wolf figure was replaced with a Red Wolf version 2 (the G.I. Joe figure Wild Weasel).

The Cobra version was packaged in a different box and had different stickers.

G.I. JOE U.S. RELEASE

The Roboskull was not released in the United States.

DATAFILE

Datafiles could be found in the Battle Action Force and Action Force comics. They contained lots of information about the vehicles and characters and had some great artwork.
