Zartan and Chameleon
Zartan is a master of disguise. His mission is to spy on Action Force and to report back to Cobra. His strategy is change colour depending on his surroundings. Further deception is achieved by donning a face mask.
Zartan’s vehicle is a swamp skier, known as the Chameleon, which also changes colour according to the level of light and the temperature. The Chameleon features movable skis, movable handlebars and a storage box so that when dismantled, the swamp skier has the appearance of a box of junk.
The Swamp Skier (or Chameleon) was a fragile vehicle that could be dismantled into pieces. The idea was that it could be changed to look like a box of junk. It came with the figure Zartan who came with several items himself.
It can be hard to find complete and many of the pieces are easily broken.

G.I. JOE U.S. RELEASE
In 1984 the Swamp Skier/ Chameleon was released as part of the G.I. Joe toy line. It had different stickers and a different box to the Action Force version.
DATAFILE
Datafiles could be found in the Battle Action Force comics. They contained lots of information about the vehicles and characters and had some great artwork.
The Zartan and Chameleon datafile was made with a 3D effect hence why it looks fuzzy!
