GERMAN ACTION FORCE

ATT ARMBRUST

Codename: Armbrust (Crossbow)

Personal Name: Riggli, Ulla

ATT Number: 396942

Primary Speciality: Commando

Secondary  Speciality: Undercover Operations

Birthplace: Interlaken, Switzerland

Diplomats daughter, early years spent in Japan. Martial arts expert. All round sportswoman and competes in British Motorcycle Championship. Graduated from the ATT undercover operations school, top of the class in unarmed combat. Speciality: an ATT-modified crossbow, Armbrust (Crossbow) is always very brave, but can explode into violent action at any moment. She is ambitious and wants to command her own ATT unit, so as to be even more successful in fighting for the good cause.

Armbrust was the German variant of the Z Force Quarrel. She came with the ATT Spezial-Krad Turbo vehicle (Special Turbo Bike in English). The English translation of Armbrust is Crossbow!

She has so many various weapons and gadgets on her figure mould that it reminds me of James Bond! The designers seem to have out alot of thought and time into this mould. As well as this she is also the driver of the Specil Turbo Bike! Gadgets on her mould include a grenade, ammo clips, shaken (throwing stars), a hidden small revolver, a knife, a catapult and a timed explosive device. No other figure has as many weapons and gadgets on their mould. A very cool figure anf the first female figure to appear in the Action Force Toy line in 1983!

In 1983 Germany released their versions of Action Force as Anti-Terror Teams and Terror Teams. In Germany the logos on the figures were all changed and instead of replica guns they had weapons that looked less-real! The German toy boxes were all cardboard and did not have plastic windows like in other countries.

Body Mould

Armbrust’s mould contained a lot of weapons and gadgets. She has a blonde hair with a detailed face sculp. She has black boots and a black body suite. Her arms and upper legs are green and she has black gloves.

On the front of her right shoulder she has a red ammo clip, on the front of her left front shoulder she has a red grenade. Under her right hand she has a concealed small red pistol. On her left glove she has two shaken (throwing stars). On the right side oh her buttocks she has a catapult, on her left leg she has a knife, on the right leg she has an explosives device with timer. She has a pocket on the upper right and left legs. I do not believe any other figure has as many weapons as gadgets in their mould as Armbrust!
