The Z Force Radio Operator “Breaker” has the same name as the G.I. Joe figure Breaker. He came with a cap, Sterling SMG and a Radio backpack. The back pack was clever as it had a headset attached to it which could be placed over Breaker’s head or stored on the pack. The pack has a nice antenna sticking out too!

Body Mould

The Z Force Radio Operator “Breaker” has a camouflaged top part and plain trousers on his lower half. Like the Z Force Captain he has a pouch on each hip and on his back has two pouches and a sleeping bag pouch. He has webbing that goes from his front to his back connecting with the pouches. 

 

ACCESSORIES

The Z Force Radio Operator originally came with a black Sterling SMG gun, a cap and a radio backpack. The pack pack could be attached to the figures back. The headset could be placed on the figures head or stored on the backpack in a two pointed clip.

The Z Force Radio Operator figure came as a carded figure. 

File Card

Information about the figure could be found on the back of the figures file card (the Datafile information). Each figure also had an individual medal number for the mail order offer. The Z Force Radio Operator number was 28. 

VARIANTS

The first version has two camouflage spots on his crotch area and the paint is not as clear as the later version. The second version has harder plastic, smaller camouflage spots on crotch area, clearer paint and logo and flat hands.

Ther German figure Brecher had the same figure mould as Breaker.

SOUNDS FAMILIAR

The Z Force Radio Operator “Breaker” had the same name as the G.I. Joe figure who was released in 1985 as part of Action Force. Both figures had a radio communications skill. The G.I. Joe Breaker did not come with a weapon. 

 

The black radio back pack also came with the First Series Commando and the SAS Battle Gear pack. 

The black Sterling SMG also came with the Red Shadows Battle Pack.

DATAFILE

Datafiles could be found in the Battle Action Force comics. They contained lots of information about the characters and had some great artwork.
