Former Action Force member. One of the best trained Marine Commandos before capture by Baron Ironblood. Sophisticated brainwashing turned him into a dedicated and ruthless follower. Brilliant military commander and tactician.

The Black Major was Baron Ironblood’s second in command.  The Black Major had formerly been a member of Action Force before being captured and brainwashed by the Baron. The Black Major came with an AK assault rifle and Red Shadows code plans. The Black Major was a repaint of the Action Force Commander figure.

Body Mould

The Black Major had a gun holster on his left hip. He had a moulded cap and had the Red Shadows emblem on his left breast. He had his rank stripes on his left and right shoulders.

 

ACCESSORIES

The Black Major came with an AK Assault Rifle and Red Shadows code plans. He came with a black rifle. The code plans were made from paper and are quite fragile. Many have been lost over the years. The code can be used to translate Red Shadows words.

The Black Major came as a carded figure.

File Card

Information about the figure could be found on the back of the figures file card (the Datafile information). Each figure also had an individual medal number for the mail order offer. The Black Major’s number was 25. 

VARIANTS

The Black Major had two versions. One version had flat hands. The second version had rounder hands and a larger Red Shadows emblem on his left breast.

LOOKS FAMILIAR

The Black Major was a repaint of the First Series Commander and Second Series Z Force Commander. The German version was the same but did not have the chest emblem or the same accessories.

DATAFILE

 

Datafiles could be found in the Battle Action Force comics. They contained lots of information about the characters and had some great artwork.
