RED WOLF

Codename: Red Wolf

Personal Name: Unknown

Primary Military Speciality: Classified

Secondary Military Speciality: Warp-Speed Aerobatics

Ex NASA astronaut trained with Moondancer before being court-marshalled for corruption. Blackmailed into joining the enemy. A reluctant servant who is driven by relentless desire to prove himself better than Moondancer in every way. Wolf’s quest for revenge has unhinged his mind. A very dangerous character.

Red Wolf is the Pilot of arguably the most iconic Action Force vehicle- The Roboskull. He came exclusively packaged with this vehicle.

He has an interesting backstory as he originally trained with Moondancer until he was blackmailed into joining the enemy! Red Wold and Moondancer now have a serious rivalry!

Body Mould

Red Wolf’s mould consists of a flight suit and so you cannot see his face. The masks eyes have been coloured in red and this gives a faceless, unemotional look. The side profile actually gives his head the shape of a wolf. He has the Red Shadows emblem on his chest and it stands out well on the black background. Moulded pipes lead from his facemask to his belt. He has a pouch on each hip and two pouches on both legs.

ACCESSORIES

Red Wolf did not come with any accessories.

PACKAGING

Red Wolf came exclusively boxed with the Roboskull vehicle.

File Card

Information about the figure could be found on the back of the figures file card (the Datafile information). Some vehicles had file cards on them. Red Wolf did not have a file card or number.

VARIANTS

Red Wolf had two variants. Version one was softer plastic and a more dark red colour. Version two was a harder plastic and had flat hands. It was also a more pink red colour.

SOUNDS FAMILIAR

In the second series Red Wolf version one was replaced with Red Wolf version two. The G.I. Joe fans will recognise Wild Weasel as the Red Wolf version two figure!

DATAFILE

Datafiles could be found in the Battle Action Force comics. They contained lots of information about the characters and had some great artwork.
