1978 saw the release of six larger scale figures (Chewbacca, Darth Vader, Luke Skywalker, Princess Leia, R2-D2 and C-3P0). In 1979 five more larger scale figures were released (Boba Fett, Han Solo, Jawa, Obi-Wan Kenobi and and the Stormtrooper). 1980 aw the release of the final larger scale figure IG-88. Unfortunately sales of the larger figures were not good, and so the line was cancelled. Kenner had planned to release more of the larger figures and even separate interchangable clothig, but it was not to be!
