The droid 8D8 was first released in 1984. He was released after The Return Of The Jedi film came out. In the film he appeared in Jabba The Hutt’s dungeon torturing a Power Droid. 8D8 came on Return of The Jedi cardbacks.
8D8 was also in the Sears exclusive Jabba The Hutt Dungeon playset and a Star Wars seven figure set.
He did not come with any accessories.
