Steeler was the driver of the Z Force Battle Tank which was a very popular toy. He came with an uzi and a red helmet which had a grey visor. The visor could be raised or lowered over his eyes and it was a very cool looking helmet.

Body Mould

Steeler has a detailed face with eyebrows and hair. He has the Z Force motif on both shoulders in red. On his chest he has a gun in a shoulder holster. He has a black and red pouch on his left leg. He has a green pocket on his right leg. He has a back pocket on his right buttock. 

 

ACCESSORIES

Steeler came with a red helmet and grey visor with red front. The visor could clip onto the red helmet and then be raised and lowered.

PACKAGING

The Z Force Steeler figure came exclusively boxed with the Z Force Battle Tank. He came in a plastic bubble inside the box.

File Card

Information about the figure could be found on the back of the box (the Datafile information). Each figure also had an individual medal number for the mail order offer. Steeler did not have a medal number. 

VARIANTS

The Z Force Steeler figure was a repaint of the G.I. Joe Steeler figure.  

The helmet visor came with a red coloured panel at the front. Some versions were not coloured and remained the grey colour of the visor.

LOOKS FAMILIAR

The grey uzi also came with Baron Ironblood and the SAS Stalker figure. 

G.I. JOE U.S. RELEASE

Steeler was first released in the U.S. G.I. Joe series in 1982, 1983 and 1984.

DATAFILE

Datafiles could be found in the Battle Action Force comics. They contained lots of information about the characters and had some great artwork.
