Ex-member of Japanese terrorist group with high level of technical experience. Formerly a student of Laser Technology at Tokyo University, was corrupted by dreams of power shown to him by Baron Ironblood. Hes developed Laser Exterminator into most deadly weapon in Enemy Armoury.

Red Laser is the operator of the deadly Laser Exterminator vehicle. One of the figures with full body movement. He was a repaint of the G.I. Joe Cobra Commander. He had a cleverly designed back and his weapon could be attached to it.

Body Mould

Red Laser is a repaint of the G.I Joe Cobra Commander. His primary colours and red and black with a white Red Shadows emblem on his helmet. One of the figures that has movable arms, head and legs. He has a dagger on his left upper leg. His back has been moulded to enable his weapon to be fitted into it (shown in below gallery). 

 

ACCESSORIES

Red Laser came with a Laser Pistol that he could hold. It could also be stored in his moulded back.

Red Laser came exclusively boxed with the Laser Exterminator vehicle. 

File Card

Information about the figure could be found on the back of the figures file card (the Datafile information). Some vehicles had filecards on them. Red Laser did not have a file card or number.

LOOKS FAMILIAR

The Laser Pistol also came with the third series Cobra Commander. It also came with the German figures Pirschjager (Stalker), Roter Laser (Red Laser) and Baron Eisenblut (Baron Ironblood). 

G.I. JOE U.S. RELEASE

Cobra Commander was first released in the U.S. in 1982 as a mail in exclusive.

DATAFILE

Datafiles could be found in the Battle Action Force comics. They contained lots of information about the characters and had some great artwork.
